The Ballarat Library’s first refurbishment in many years has seen the incorporation of Australian-manufactured, mobile expression shelving. To maximize circulation, they have included face-out book displays on the top row of every shelf.
They have also seized the opportunity to make the most of the bay ends by incorporating four slat wall extrusions, utilizing the entire bay and maximizing impact.
Strategically placed signage on top of the shelving bays makes it easy for visitors to navigate the entire library. Additionally, section dividers placed within the shelving further enhance navigation.
